Reach all of DOB’s online services from one place.

How Access DC Works

I already have an Access DC account

  • Click “Log in” from the Tertius homepage
  • You’ll be redirected to Access DC
  • Sign in to Access DC with your existing email and password
  • You will be redirected back to Tertius, signed in to your account

I don’t have an Access DC account

  • Click “Register” from the Tertius homepage
  • You will be redirected to Access DC
  • Choose the sign-up option
  • Enter your email address and a password to register
  • Go to your email inbox and check for a verification email. When you receive the email, verify your address. Remember to check your Spam folders. If you do not receive a verification email , please contact accessdc.dcra@dc.gov.
  • After you verify your email address, you will be redirected to your Tertius account.

Reach Tertius from Access DC Homepage

Once you sign in on https://accessdc.dcra.dc.gov/, your DOB applications will be in one location. Simply click the icon for the application that you want to use and it will open in a new browser window or tab. You will be automatically logged in.

I forgot my password

  • Visit Access DC and select “Need help signing in?”
  • Select “Forgot password”
  • Enter email address and:
    • if you provided a recovery phone number, reset via SMS or voice call
    • if you did not provide a recovery phone number, reset via email
  • Follow the prompts to reset your password

My account has been locked

  • Visit Access DC and select “Need help signing in”
  • Select “Unlock account”
  • Enter email address and:
    • if you provided a recovery phone number, unlock via SMS or voice call
    • if you did not provide a recovery phone number, reset via email
  • Follow the prompts to reset your password
